I had never heard of the show "Have A Shot" which started in 1962, does anyone have any memories of the show ?





.... in my defence, I was wearing nappies at the time.  :angel:

This was originally a radio show on ZB. Contestants who were bad (& there were a few) got shot halfway through their number, usually never to be heard of again. When TV started it was one of the early talent shows. They were a bit easier on entrants on TV & usually let them finish. A guy named John Daley was involved but cant remember if he did the TV show or radio or maybe both. He married a Miss NZ called Elaine Miscall.

 ::)I remember this show (Have a Shot) because my mother was a contestant in it and i was in the audience.  I shudder when I think about it, I was so embarrassed!  A true example of parents embarrassing their children, I was mortified.
