Don't get me started on this one!!

Justin 'The Big Fake' most certainly can't sing/dance/anything. But then, many of today's acts can't. They are faces, or what I call Bimbo-Pop. It's their looks that matters, not their musical ability (or lack of in this case)

Is this a case of the Recording Industry dictating to the general public what is hot and what is not ?

I may be wrong, but that has been my thought for a while now, they brain wash us with what they want us to hear (and see), listen to any radio station, it is the same stuff over and over and over and SMACK ! that's better.

I'm interested watching Smashproof & Gin continue to stay at Number One in NZ. What's that about 8 weeks now!! Not wanting to get caught in any controversy regarding the songs story, I do hope it gets released and airplayed in Australia. It's a great song  Grin

Hey Tasman, that song has now been on the charts for 14 weeks at this stage, 10 of those weeks in a row as number one !! click here

That has beaten a record which has stood from the mid 80's here in NZ, previously held by "All Of Us" for their song Sailing Away.

There's an article on Radio NZ Saturday 2 May, 2-3pm (obviously NZ time)

Trevor Reekie and guests give a brief social history of NZ in music, contrasting two hit songs -
1986's 'Sailing Away' by 'All of Us', and current number one 'Brother', by Smashproof.

Click here and click on the headphones to listen.
